Giveaway Winner!

Tonight's post is going to be a quick one as I'm currently stuffing my face with this...

Half an avocado, a banana, cocoa powder, peanut butter, agave nectar and a little milk to allow my blender to work it's magic. Rich, chocolatey, just what I wanted - I'm in a bit of a "must eat everything in sight" mood today, but luckily this is so filling that it's slowing me down a bit!

My meals today have been pretty random - breakfast was a huge latte sweetened with agave nectar...

... and many many spoonfuls of chocolate-coconut-brazil nut butter, whoops!

Turns out this stuff is even better at room temperature! Not runny, but perfectly spoonable... after an hour or so of constantly returning to the kitchen for another spoonful, I had to put the jar back into the fridge as I clearly can't trust myself!

For lunch, as was the case on Saturday, I fancied eggs and avocado. This time I ate it in the form of fried eggs on waffles, with an avocado and peach salsa on the side.

This was so tasty! I loved the sweetness of the waffles and peach with the contrasting eggs and creamy avocado. The salsa was simply half an avocado and one peach chopped and mixed with a little lemon juice. I love summery flavours!

Mid-afternoon, I snacked on some more summery fruit in the form of juicy cherries...

...and then for dinner we had paneer and pea curry, from the same recipe as we had here. This time I actually had onions so blitzed some onions, garlic and ginger in the food processor as the recipe says...it made the sauce so much thicker, delicious! I also still added some coconut cream in at the end - any excuse to have half a tin to use up tomorrow!!

I still love the sweet potato and cauliflower curry I used to make lots, but this is great too and Liam much prefers the paneer to the cauliflower, so it looks like this is a winner for now!

Right, that's it. The avocado chocolate pudding is now finished, and whilst I don't feel hungry, I still want to eat. Do you ever get that? I know that if I eat anything else it will make me feel uncomfortably full, I'm just in a really fidgety, 'want to constantly be in the kitchen snacking' kind of mood today. So frustrating. I don't even really end up enjoying the random food I eat from the cupboards half the time - I stuff it in, regret it, go sit down for a few minutes and then get peckish again!

  2. How exciting! Thanks so much (off to email you).
    :)
That choc pudding looks so yum. I do sometimes fancy something else, but now I try to have a mint tea in the evening, and as it is a different flavour that seems to satisfy me. Worth a try maybe?

  3. That coconut butter looks A.Mazing :-)
I love it and I love Brazils (and chocolate :-) ) so it's right up my street!
And yes, I do that bored/not really enjoying it that much eating all the time if I'm not careful!

  4. That last sentence is the story of my life unfortunately. It's usually anxiety and tiredness that drives me to eat...most of the time I need to get to bed earlier/get more sleep. Speaking of which...

  5. I have "I want to eat everything in sight" days too. Mostly when it's getting close to my time of the month, but also when I'm bored or tired. Have you been drinking enough water? I try to drink tons when I'm feeling like that, but sometimes nothing works. Hope it passes for you tomorrow!
